What makes renting a birth tub from Sacred Dove different from other options?
I offer an inflatable HOT tub for rent.
The hot tub, as opposed to traditional inflatable birth pools, allows for more comfort and convivence. You can set the temperature and keep the water warm as opposed to the traditional refilling of boiling hot water from the stove.
What are the key benefits of using a birth tub during labor, from your perspective?
Water birth is considered natures epidural. It is my personal favorite comfort measure.

What kind of support or guidance do you offer to families who rent a birth tub from you?
The birth tub is rented from 36 weeks until your baby is born; about 4 weeks. You can pick up the hot tub or have it delivered.
You will need to provide:

Disposable single use pool liner (must be used when using the pool)

Sink adapter (you will need to purchase one that fits your sink)

Water pump to empty the pool

Hose to fill the pool
Details and Pricing: 4 week rental
- $150 for Sacred Dove birth clients

$250 for non-Sacred Dove clients

$50 non-refundable security deposit required to reserve your rental

Total rental fee paid in full by 37 weeks or upon delivery of the pool kit

No extra fee if baby arrives after due date (up to 42 weeks)

Travel fee for delivery may apply for locations over 15 miles from Memphis, TN (unless picked up)

If you no longer meet the criteria for a waterbirth by your care provider PRIOR to 37 weeks, and have NOT obtained possession of the pool a 50% refund will be given if full fee was paid

Pool must be returned in the same condition received
A non-refundable $50 deposit, which applies to the rental fee, is due along with the agreement that will be emailed after submission. The remaining balance is due no later than the 37th week of pregnancy. If this agreement is received after the beginning of the 36th week, the entire balance will be due.
